On Friday 7th of October we attended the annual Midlands Fashion Awards to compete in the category for 'The Best Independent Designer of the year' which took place in at the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Centre.

The event celebrates local designers and lets them showcase their collections.

For our collection the inspiration came from a lot of 60's influences which echoes from our main inspiration for Bottle Blonde.

We worked with a lot of unusual textures to create different shapes and styles. Using Metallics and psychedelic

The whole collection is influenced by female empowerment; making women feel invincible.

We placed 2nd overall in the Independent designer of the year category that we are massively pleased with! The collection was so fun to put together and seeing it on the catwalk made all the hard work pay off!
